Are you learning Gaelic or are you interested in the language? We’re planning to put some more posts on the blog for people who would like to learn some Gaelic or would like to learn more about the language.
We have produced some resources aiming at people who want to learn a little about Gaelic while also learning about the Scottish Parliament – Pàrlamaid na h-Alba.
One of these is our Abair Beagan – Speak a little leaflet which presents a selection of Gaelic words and phrases useful for parliamentary debates and meetings and contains Parliamentary vocabulary. There are also accompanying sound files which you can access.
We have also recently posted some web pages in English about Gaelic in the Scottish Parliament so you can find out about how to interact with the Parliament in Gaelic.
Another resource likely to be of interest is our new Gaelic election results poster which contains a colourful map of Scotland showing the results of the 2016 election.
Paper copies or Abair Beagan and our election results map are available from us free of charge. If you would like a copy, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
