The Scottish Parliament will be taking part in Gaelic Twitter day on Thursday 30 April.
The aim of the day is to encourage the use of Gaelic through social media. Some tweets will be about Gaelic and others in the language.
Fourteen of our committees are on Twitter and they will also be taking part in the day, looking at subjects as diverse as social isolation, internationalising Scottish business and fire service reform.
Our Education twitter feed @EducationSP will also be tweeting in Gaelic. Find out the Gaelic names for the visiting schools and learn some education terminology!
Gaelic Twitter Day presents an opportunity to interact with us in Gaelic, however, don’t forget that you can use Gaelic with us at any time!
If you would like to learn some simple Gaelic while also learning more about the Scottish Parliament, you might also be interested in our Gaelic Word of the Week feature on Soundcloud.
